Ezekiel: An Exegetical and Theological Exposition of Holy Scripture (Volume 17) (The New American Commentary)

THE NEW AMERICAN COMMENTARY is for the minister or Bible student who wants to understand and expound the Scriptures.

Notable features include:

• commentary based on THE NEW INTERNATIONAL VERSION
• the NIV text printed in the body of the commentary
• sound scholarly methodology that reflects capable research in the original languages
• interpretation that emphasizes the theological unity of each book and of Scripture as a whole
• readable and applicable exposition.

The New American Commentary is characterized by scholarship which is well informed, mature in its interpretation, and discerning in its judgment. But even more basic is the foundational commitment of the authors to the full trustworthiness of Scripture. The design achieves the appropriate balance of analytic investigation of the text, faithful exegesis and exposition which is homiletically accessible for application to current life situations. Both learning and ministry are well served.
