THE INTRICATE TAN AND BLUE DESIGN ON THE FRONT COVER THAT IS ENCASED IN A DOUBLE EDGE RULE IS IDENTICAL TO THE FIRST EDITION BY HERBERT S. STONE AND COMPANY. THIS LATER PRINTING BY DUFFIELD & COMPANY DOES NOT HAVE THE CIRCULAR H. S. STONE ENBLEM ON THE REAR COVER OR THE STONE NAME ON THE SPINE. THE TITLE PAGE IS SIMILAR TO THE LAKESIDE PRESS PRINTINGS OF EARLIER EDITIONS. THERE ARE FORTY DRAWINGS THAT ACCOMPANY THE TWENTY GEORGE ADE FABLES. THIS IS A NEAR FINE COPY. THERE IS A PT-REVIOUS OWNERS NAME AND DATE OF AUGUST , 1928 ON THE INNER FRONT COVER,THERE IS ALSO A LIBRARY STAMP AND A FAINT GIFT PRESENTATION ON THE FIRST FREE END PAGE. THE TROW PRESS N. Y.
