32p. A staplebound softcover booklet in good condition. Some wear and creases to edges and corners. Text clean and binding tight. The Black International No. 10. Claims that the Pope is continuing to undermine democracy across the world even though facist collaborators from the Second World War have been overthrown. The "Black International" was a secret organization affiliated with the Vatican, primarily made up of Catholic aristocrats, whose aim was to protect the remaining temporal power of the Church in Europe. McCabe sees this organization as complicit in allowing facism to grow. McCabe was a former Franciscan priest who left the Catholic Church and became a vocal member of the anti-authoritarian Freethought movement. He wrote many anti-Catholic tracts, and was included among the thinkers G.K. Chesterton opposed in his book "Heretics.".
