Very thick, 786 pages with numerous small sketches throughout the text, a few full page photos as well including the frontis. Pictorial cloth boards, floral end papers. Sections on The Farm, Beekeeping, The Horse, Cattle, Sheep, Poultry, Medicinal, Poisons and Antidotes, The Household (including about 125 pages of recipes), and Domestic Pets. Good plus condition, the front hinge a bit weak, the binding well preserved. Neat owner name dated 1897.
