This book has been written after years of extensive research-work focusing upon the wide range of traditional and innovative narrative strategies employed by Salman Rushdie in his fiction. It brings together ten novels penned by Salman Rushdie (right from his first published novel to the later published ones, covering his literary journey spanning nearly four decades) and provides an insightful critical analysis on each one of them, with particular attention upon the experimental, innovative and inventive modes of narration adopted by Rushdie for wielding his magic of fabulation. The central aim of this book is to provide a concise but comprehensive account of the major chunk of Rushdie’s works in the genre of Fiction, highlighting the core plot, concerns/themes and narrative technique of each of these ten books.
