Colour plates on 4 pages of newest ships of Royal Navy + colour Dan Dare cartoon and another cartoon strip + b/w illustrations throughout. Large 8vo blue cloth spined pictorial red boards (spine slightly rubbed/boards scratched with a few chips out of the red paper, cover page in good condition) 176pp includes Anthony Buckridge's Rex Milligan story, as well as Dan Dare & P.C.49 stip cartoons by cartoonists such as Charles Kennedy, + the cricketing career of Dennis Compton and Appreciation of Stanley Matthews, as well as guide to biycle care and illustration of 1950 Tour De France winner Ferdi Kubler, tribute to Grand Prix World Champion Alberto Ascari after his death by Roland Davies. Though covers are sound & well attached they are not as good as contents which have one small erasure to the crossword but otherwise clean, tight and mostly unmarked, but with some sketching on cover page and inside and previous owner's name Richard Allen. 1 volume.
