Add to basketThe entire print run of this influential post-industrial / apocalyptic folk zine. The Fifth Path covered England's Hidden Reverse artists like Death In June, Sol Invictus, Current 93, and Coil, as well as iconoclasts Boyd Rice, Feral House's Adam Parfrey, and former Church of Satan high-priestess, Zeena LaVey. Michael Moynihan of Blood Axis, the co-author of Lords of Chaos (1998), was a contributing writer to issue three and is credited as Associate Editor in issues four and five. Other notable contributions include an opinion piece by Peter Steele of Type O Negative that was rejected by Creem magazine, an introduction to urban and wilderness survival, Throbbing Gristle bootleg reviews, and two-part articles on Skinheads in East Germany and Odinism in Heavy Metal, respectively. The zine's founder and editor-in-chief, Robert Ward, died in 2004. Standard A4 format, with between 48 and 76 pages per issue. Printed in black and white and amply illustrated. Bound with staples in either card stock or coated paper. The original price label appears on the front panel of the first issue, with some light soiling to the rear panel of the fifth issue. Extremely rare in print, OCLC locates no holdings.
