This book describes a very special project that is now in developement - to create better tools and surroundings for persons who are blind or partially sighted. The goal was to develop tactile maps based on individual needs, however, since no tactile map will solve the tasks that city maps solve for people with normal vision, this problem sparked a new goal: An electronic, voice-controlled navigator for visually impaired people. This navigator coupled with work on the city itself in the form of special paving stones is being implemented after many hours of testing by users. Prices are net and payable by check, money-order, Visa or MasterCard;
postage
and handling is extra. Prices subject to change without notice. All
individual
orders must be pre-paid unless there is a previous agreement with us.
We now
charge a $20.00 fee for checks returned for insufficient funds. Libraries
may be
accommodated by deferred billing upon request. Any book that is not
satisfactory
must be retuned within 30 days or full credit cannot be guaranteed.
