(USA) This book first appeared in 1947; this is the first edition by the \lee Printing Co. Inc. The book had been previously reprinted by the Battery Press. Owner's name to back of front ocver, owner's inscription to back of frront cover, which is struck out in marker, there are a couple of numbers in pen to the margin of page 111, there is lower corner missing from pp313/314, not affecting text, there is a piece of the upper margin (about 1/4" x 3") missing fron the front endpaper, about Very Good in Good only dust jacket with scuff ark to the spine and small stress creases to the panels, magic tape to back of the head of psine, and a small piece of tape to the upper corner flap of the dust jacket back panel. Blue gray cloth with red arrowhead, map endpapers, 376pp, roster of enlisted men, B&W photos.
