Boards in red cloth, gilt illustration on front panel; fraying to spine caps and corners, toning to spine, peripheral toning. Text block has tanning and foxing to endpapers, intermittent spine breaks, slight amount penciled marginal notation. Illustrated: color frontispiece, b&w and color plates with tissue guards.
