THE FIVE ELEMENTS OF COMBAT

The FIVE ELEMENTS OF COMBAT is a different take on The Book of Five Rings by the legendary Japanese swordsman Miyamoto Musashi. While this book does not follow Musashi’s timeless classic to the letter where he focuses on swordsmanship, metaphorically speaking, there are many lessons on mindset, strategy, and the warrior scholar philosophy or ideal that are as pertinent today as they were when he wrote his treatises over 400 years ago. This book deals with concepts on how to train with the proper mental and spiritual attitude while physically developing your body for self-defense or what we refer to as “Martial Arts As War.”
