She has taught at various levels, from middle school to post-secondary, earning multiple accolades including the Excellence Award 2015 from PACE and KRON4 News Teacher of the Year in 2016. She is the co-author of two books, including a children's illustrated book, The Friendly Learning Academy: The FLA Way. Now retired, she continues her writing journey while enjoying gardening, traveling, and spending time with loved ones. Her dedication to nurturing relationships within the educational community is reflected in her works.
