About the Author

Robert E. Bauman, JD has been a member of the Washington, DC bar since 1964 and is a former Member of the US House of Representatives from Maryland. Author of How to Lawyer-Proof Your Life (Shot Tower Press, Boca Raton, FL,1995), The Offshore Money Manual (The Sovereign Society, 1998, 1999, 2000) and Forbidden Knowledge (The Global Press Ltd., Baltimore, 1998, 1999), The Complete Guide to Offshore Residency, Dual Citizenship and Second Passports (The Sovereign Society, 2001). His writings appear in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, The National Review and other publications. He specializes in asset protection and offshore financial law. He is legal counsel to The Sovereign Society and editor of its Internet newsletter, The Sovereign Society Offshore A-letter.
