New and cheaper edition of the 1911 original. 348, (4 publications) PP with 59 figures, plus 42 plates with 70 b/w illustrations (line drawings, plans, photos). Cloth cover, device on front cover, title on front cover and spine. Covers rubbed, worn on lower corner of front cover. Sticker of the "Shiplover's Society of Tasmania" pasted down at head of illustrations pages and Chapter 1. Copy lacking 6 plates called for: the colour plate of the frontispiece and 5 b/w plates: 19, 22, 90, 91 and 92. As is. Good reading / working condition. 24.3 x 18.5.
