First copyrighted in 1893, this copy is the third edition, thoroughly revised and enlarged by F. Ernest Brackett. There is a chapter on miner's safety-lamps and instruments. The condition of this book is good, however someone spilled coffee on the top-edge; so there is some discoloration and distortion but these mining textbooks are so rare it deserves to be saved.
