Three years after his retrospective, "Moving Out", Robert Frank moves on. This book is published upon the occasion of the 1996 Hasselblad Award given to this ground-breaking American photographer. Since 1994 his life has unfolded more truths and tragedies, and with this work he delves deeper to reveal new radical images. Containing work such as colour collages made in 1996, new sequential images such as "Memorial", "Today is My Daughter's Birthday", "North East South West" and the "Crows" triptych, this book should be of interest to all photography and art collectors. Featuring various fold-outs which reveal connections between the old and new photographs, the book illustrates how experimental, yet consistently true Frank's work is. , English, Year1997, Illust. B/W32, Illust. Color2, ISBN 3931141551, Code 5360. Hardbound with Jacket, Dustjacket slightly damaged., Bio. Pages 52, Size 12öx 7 1/2ö.
