Zum Magister der Philosophie promoviert, nimmt er am literarischen Leben Berlins teil, ist mit Friedrich Nicolai, Moses Mendelssohn und Ewald von Kleist befreundet und ver�ffentlicht 1755 das erste deutsche b�rgerliche Trauerspiel Mi� Sara Sampson.
