Although Samyn's oeuvre developed at the same time as the internet and follows a similar organic growth, it gives full credit to skill and materiality. The artist either seeks close collaboration with craftsman or rises to the challenge of mastering the various media that he uses himself, be it painting, sculpture, poetry and more recently choreography.
