Face Reading: Keys to Instant Character Analysis

The art of reading faces has been practiced in China for literally thousands of years. Now, with the help of this step-by-step guide, anyone can learn how to interpret different facial characteristics and acquire an instant knowledge of a person's character, feelings, hidden desires and worries, state of health, and mood.

Siang mien, the art of reading faces, has survived in Chinese culture for over 3000 years. This art is also important in Chinese medical treatment, according to Kuei, a Chinese medical practitioner now working in Munich. Kuei uses 180 drawings to show how faces can be read, moving chapter by chapter through each part of the face, starting with overall shape. Ears are said to predict a person's future, and facial characteristics can also reveal the energy in a person's sexuality, success in relationships, and fortune in each year of life. In addition, a Chinese doctor may receive clues from the face when diagnosing an illness. For example, loss of eyebrow hair may indicate kidney dysfunction. Ending with five tests for the reader, Kuei offers a simple but powerful book covering every aspect of reading faces to start the novice on the way to success. General audiences exhibiting a similar interest in palmistry or body-language interpretation will want this unique title.?Lisa S. Wise, Broome Cty. P.L., Binghamton, NY
