It comes as a shock to those who are averse to ambiguity, but living with uncertainty is a viable way to be. This second collection of quotes about the the importance of doubt would be a great gift to the dogmatic, black and white, "I know I'm right, don't confuse me with the facts" people in your life. Or maybe you yourself are intolerant of different opinions, others' contrary beliefs, or even prone to be a bit doctrinaire and emphatic when ideas are shared. Either way, exercising a bit of self doubt does everyone a big favor. Book One in this series quoted artists and writers who encouraged embracing doubt. Faces of Uncertainty, Book Two quotes 44 scientists and philosophers who recognize the benefits of doubt. Erik Douglas Johnson is a retired marriage and family therapist and family conflict mediator who combines his clinical experience with his cartooning hobby.
