By John Armstrong and printed in Hartford, Connecticut by Oliver D. Cooke. 1823. 8.75 x 5.5 . 8vo. Hardcover full leather. Overall fair, with scuffing and rubbing to boards. Cracking to front hinge, along with lighter wear to rear. Text block remains bound well. 1827 inscription on top of first title page. Some instances of chipping to leather on spine, including at head and heel. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. A scarce piece by John Armstrong, a physician to the Fever Institute in London.
