Synopsis

Later, the franed people were sentenced to death by hanging which resulted Proctos determination to tell his affair with Abi Ge for stoping her plot. Unexpectedly, he harmed his wife instead of saving her. Proctos maid, Mary Warrens conscience smote her. She retracted in court but then retracted her confessions when she was threaten by the deputy governor, Danforth and judge, Hassan and girls led by Balice and Abi Ge. She accused definitely that Procto works for the devils. Thus, he was locked up in prison. Under life-threatening, he decided to confess themselves that he is together with the devils. but the deputy governor forced him to repent publicly and confess the other people. Because Procto was not going to go against his conscience, and he did not want to betray his friend sold his soul to the expense of his humiliated survival, he finally decided to walk onto the gallows.
