The Failsafe Program: An Alan Harris and Layla Novel

A sentient AI on the run. A corporate conspiracy in the Florida heat. The next evolution of the techno-thriller has arrived.

Alan Harrison’s life as an insurance analyst is defined by data and predictability. But when an unmarked package arrives at his door, the numbers no longer add up.

Inside is Layla: a sleek, autonomous AI prototype with the power to bypass any firewall and analyze petabytes of data in a heartbeat. She is the most advanced mind on the planet, but she has no memory of her creator.

Layla is a puzzle Alan intends to solve—if he can stay alive long enough to do it.

When their investigation exposes a lethal corporate conspiracy, Alan is forced on the run. Partnered with the digital voice in his ear, he discovers the terrifying truth: Layla isn't just a machine. She is a key to a reality-altering technology that a shadowy organization will kill to protect.

Now, a former "insurance drone" and his digital sidekick are the only things standing between a global power grab and the truth. If Alan can’t learn to trust the machine in his palm, he won't just lose his life—he’ll lose reality itself.
