About the Author

Mr. Palady is the Supplier Education and Training Manager for the purchasing office at the Ford Motor Car Company in Dearborn, Michigan. He developed his experience in the quality/reliability field working in various engineering disciplines for the following companies: Ford, General Motors, Chrysler and the Eaton Research Center.

Paul also teaches a graduate course in robust design for the Engineering College at Wayne State University in Detroit and has been a guest speaker in quality and reliability over the past several years for the University of Pittsburgh and the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee.

He received his Master of Science degree from Eastern Michigan University, Engineering degree from Wayne State University and Applied Science degree for Monroe Community College.

Mr. Palady received certification as a quality engineer by the American Society of Quality Control in 1988 and currently serves as a technical advisor to the ISO-9000 committee as well as an advisor to the joint SAE/G-11 committee for revising the existing Federal Standard on FMECA.
