A Fair Knight Slain: Murder at the Renaissance Fair (Sara/Ryker Mysteries)

A knight's brutal death exposes political intrigue and romantic rivalries at a Florida Renaissance fair. If detectives Sarah and Ryker don't find the killer before the fair ends in nine days, their chief will lose the mayoral election to a crime boss with nefarious plans for the city. His goons threaten Sara at every step of her investigation. Ryker goes underground for dirt on the crime boss to derail his campaign.

The Renaissance fair setting bustles with colorful costumes, stage shows, and a motley crew of suspects: knights, a crazed Viking, blacksmith, adulterous queen, and fortune teller. Complex layers of power struggles and jealousies intertwine them in multiple twists and turns, making it impossible to identify the murderer.

In a surprise ending on the last day before closing, a shocking detail sends Sara on a perilous killer pursuit across the border into Georgia's Okefenokee Swamp. Book 1 of Sara/Ryker Mysteries
