J. Howard Olds serves as senior pastor of Brentwood United Methodist Church, a 5,700 member church based just outside of Nashville, Tennessee. He pastored his first church at eighteen, and later served the Eminence, Crestwood, Trinity Hill, and St. Paul (Louisville) congregations in Kentucky. Dr. Olds earned a bachelor's degree from Asbury College, a master of divinity degree from Asbury Theological Seminary, and a doctor of ministry degree from Lexington Theological Seminary. He and his wife, Sandy, a retired teacher, have two sons and one grandson.
