About the Author

Heather Wallace has been in youth ministry for eighteen years and is currently the Director of Youth Ministry at Second Presbyterian Church in Little Rock. She is both a speaker and community educator at Faith and Grief events. She serves on the annual events committee of the Association of Presbyterian Church Educators. Heather is the co-author of Grief Diaries: Loss of a Parent. A native of the suburbs of Chicago, she attended Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and currently resides in Arkansas with her husband, children, and one neurotic hound dog. A graduate of the US Air Force Academy, Stuart Rubio has served for the past 18 years and currently commands a combat airlift squadron. An avid triathlete, Stu is a fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Air Force Falcons, and all Philadelphia teams. He also loves all teams, casts, bands, choirs, and scout packs that involve his children. Stu currently resides in Biloxi, Mississippi, with his wife, Megan, and their three boys.
