Your sponsor will also get a copy of Have Faith and will be working on the same things as you. But because there are no formal sponsor meetings, you can choose an adult sponsor from anywhere in the country, someone you feel comfortable with. Three times during this preparation process, the two of you will share notes over the phone, via e-mail, or face to face. Whatever works best for you.

About the Author

Dr. Michael Carotta has worked with adolescents for over thirty years in educational, pastoral, and clinical settings. He spent eleven years as a classroom teacher, including four years working with at-risk youth at Girls and Boys town and is the former Executive Director of the NCEA Department of Religious Education. He is a well-known national speaker and teaches graduate courses in several Catholic universities.
