1963. Twenty-first impression. 96pp. and many illustrations within the text. This is book four in the publisher's 'Beacon Library' series and is planned to give the child addiitonal reading practice. It contains more of the folk tales which are the child's own literature and which have proved over and over again the best incentive to fluent, intelligent reading. The book is bound in thin card covers and is in good to very good condition with shelf wear and some soiling on the covers. The corners and spinme ends are rubbed and the spine is faded. There is a little damage on the bottom edge of the rear cover. The contents are secure and clean with no inscription.
