About the Author: Ray Perkins, Jr. is professor of philosophy at Plymouth State College in New Hampshire. He is Executive Secretary of the Northern New England Philosophical Association, a member of the Board of Directors of the Bertrand Russell Society, and Chair of the Department of Philosophy.
