Falcon Dagger: An Epic Historical Fantasy (Falcon Chronicle Book 3)

Falcon Dagger is the third book in a completed series, including three additional companion stories. From second chances to powerful enemies, trials of destiny to oaths kept, each story offers a spark of hope, a heart of courage, and an echo of meaning. Here Noblebright historical adventure tropes ignite the imagination – the lost heir, court intrigue, haven and hunt, rivals and romance.

One disguise. One usurper. One defense.

Kyrin Cieri is willing to fight for Britannia and protect her besieged stronghold against those who would destroy their very memory. Yet weakness blooms in the betrayal of a Brother’s hope as Kyrin and her House guard the light they hold.

Evil waxes by sinuous, deadly, hidden ways to bring about a kingdom’s fall.

Until one man rises up to oppose treachery in his own heart and unwittingly uncovers the first threads of long-laid plots and whispers of a coming king.

When Kyrin bears a new heir, the hope of her stronghold, a thief steals the Damascus blade from the very hall of Cierheld. Berd, first armsman of Cieri, must find the hidden traitor and recover the sword. Kyrin’s companion Celine is determined to discover the sword first, for she vows she is as strong as any man.

But Lord Thain Mornoth sees his chance to take the king’s seat. To silence the whispers of hope, he accuses Berd and Celine of terrible crimes. Entangled in webs of deceit and treachery, they are captive to the regent’s doubt. Then the insidious hand behind Lord Mornoth brings a great reset to the land that will end in fire.

Against a tapestry of old enemies and new alliances, the coming king remains hidden. Can Berd and Celine uncover the broken oaths around them in time to protect the lost prince, prove their oaths, and lead Britannia into hope?

For any land is only as good as its king.

One heir must survive. One heir must be protected. Or all will end in ash.

Falcon Dagger is a resonant canvas of courage, forbidden alliances, and resilient spirits - a heart song to the Master of Stars. –Anna Thayer, THE KNIGHT OF ELDARAN SERIES
