Falconbrow

"Terza's transformation from aspiring artist and loyal friend to unstoppable Storm Maiden." -Kirkus Reviews

Every city has heroes. Hell's Labyrinth creates legends.

Fourteen-year-old Terza Jaidenson was born into Hell's Labyrinth, a fallen city where beauty and brutality exist side by side. A gifted young artist, fiercely loyal to the people she loves, and trained to fight long before she ever needed to, Terza refuses to let the city's cruelty defeat her.

Early on, the city's criminals mistake Terza for easy prey.

Instead, they discover a rising Storm Maiden-a legendary warrior from an order of women who ruled the ancient world. It's the last mistake these men will ever make.

As dangerous enemies close in on Terza and the people she loves, every victory earns new adversaries. Every act of compassion carries a price. Yet no matter how impossible the odds, she refuses to surrender-not for herself, and certainly not for those she has sworn to protect.

One triumph at a time, Terza forges a name Hell's Labyrinth will never forget:

Falconbrow.

Set in the multi-award-winning Shadow Bidder universe, Falconbrow is a gripping coming-of-age dark fantasy that balances breathtaking action with warmth, humor, romance, and the inspiring rise of one of fantasy's most indomitable heroines.

Every legend has an origin.

This is hers.

Content note: Falconbrow takes place in a harsh world and includes moments of violence, attempted sexual assault, and family addiction. These elements are handled with seriousness and care, and set within a larger story of courage, friendship, defiance, and hope.
