The Fall of the Dream Machine / The Star Venturers

Ace Double 22600 60 cents — Koontz's second novel, very hard to find in readable condition. Solid, surprisingly clean reading copy with some not inconsiderable flaws. Interior is lightly tanned, as expected, and there's a crayon number on the Koontz side of the cover, with some remnants on the Bulmer side along with an old price tag. Interior has a bookstore stamp. Cover has corner chips and small creases, and both the top and bottom of the Bulmer side are separated from the spine for about an inch; that old glue tends to dry and crack. See pictures.
