The Fall of the Silver Gate (The Crown of Palrad)

In this second book of the trilogy, the Signal of the Yeller blazes through the Rocky Isle, careening through the Paragon Isles and the sprawling continent until it reaches the Ring Mountains. As it echoes through the rugged peaks, Edligor hears it first, summoning the Wise for the Gathering of the Gerents in the Holy Mountain. But the aftermath of the Traders' battle with the People of Men has left the Kin's Producers divided, while Zanid's departure for the Gathering lingers like a shadow over the underground capital of Nirah Sorith. Meanwhile, in the Kingdom of the Mounts, Loxor's adventure heats up as he faces off against the towering Giants.

Moreover, as fate plays a sly game with Alouthna, Unerthron is poisoned by the treason of the sea's Kin.

When the truth is finally revealed, the Crown of Palrad is uncovered, and everything changes. The Silver Gate is flung open wide. In the end, a band of heroes from all the Kins come together with one goal in mind: to vanquish the Crown and break the curse that plagues their world.
