Fallen Angels is the fifth poem book written by Toni García Arias, published in paper in due moment by the prestigious Editorial Renacimiento.Fallen Angels is a group of poems about ordinary life themes, like little postcards of everyday life. Among the subjects we can find memoirs of childhood, lack of love, the lost of dear people o the sensation of defeat. The title Fallen Angels refers to all these little sufferings along our lives that finally convey into our real life moments already converted in memories.
He is a teacher and a writer.
In the educative field, Toni García Arias has led different Projects of Educative Innovation and participates in different jobs as a Curricular Consultant, particularly in the area of Emotional Education and International Evaluations. He has published more than twenty articles in education magazines and he is also the author of books like "Manual para superar la adolescencia; tratado de educación e inteligencia emocional", (Málaga, Ediciones Aljibe, 2013), "Educación emocional para todos" (Madrid, LoQueNoExiste Editorial, 2016) y "Hacia una nueva educación" (Sevilla, Editorial MAD, 2016). He is also Tutor in INTEF, -Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías Educativas y Formación del Profesorado- (National Institute of Educative Technologies and Teaching Studies), in the Ministry of Education.
As a writer he publishes articles in the newspapers “La Opinión de Murcia” and “Periodista Digital”, a digital on-line newspaper. Besides, he has been editor in the field of education in the Associate Press, Murcia, for seven years.
In the literary field he has published five books of poems: “Distancias” (2015), “Sobre la arena” (2015), “Todos los puertos” (Nausícaä, 2002); “Diccionario de derrotas” (Nausícaä, 2003) y “Ángeles caídos” (Renacimiento, 2006). His poems and tales have been collected and published in different literary magazines, nationals as well as internationals, in Spanish and Gallego dialect; the most outstanding is the Revista Baquiana (Miami) or Dorna (Santiago de Compostela). Some of his poems have been translated to French and have been selected as part of selection examinations in Latin-American and Spanish Universities.
In 2010 he received the first Culture Prize of Concello de Cabanas, to Coruña.
