A simple story about forgiveness—with the power to transform hearts.

The Fallen is a metaphorical tale of a stick—abused, cast aside, yet ultimately transformed. This beautifully illustrated children’s-style book speaks to readers of all ages, especially those carrying guilt or wrestling with the act of forgiveness.

If you—or someone you love—are burdened by regret, shame, or conflict, this story offers a gentle but powerful message: You are not beyond healing.

✨ Written for a man serving a life sentence in a Nebraska prison, this story was illustrated by him behind bars. Since then, The Fallen has been shared in:

• Prisons across the U.S. and internationally

• Victim impact programs and restorative justice circles

• Classrooms and counseling settings to help children understand conflict and compassion

This is more than a book—it’s a tool for healing, a conversation starter, and a symbol of transformation through grace.

The Fallen reminds us: even the broken can become beautiful.
