The False Creek Murder

Roy Innes is back with his beloved Inspector Coswell series, in this page-turning fifth mystery. After a young constable is killed during what should have been a routine drug bust, Sergeant Janet Bostock is propelled into leadership of the narcotics squad. Thrown back into line of duty alongside RCMP homicide division head, Inspector Mark Coswell, they must work together to solve three seemingly random murder. With a new partner in tow and all his wits about him, Inspector Coswell must use all his investigative skills to solve this brand new mystery.

Roy Innes is a retired eye physician and surgeon. His early penchant for the arts, buried for years in the world of science, was rekindled upon retirement. At that time, he enrolled in the Humber School for Writers program and, under the mentorship of literary notable Olive Senior, wrote his first novel, Murder in the Monashees, which was released in 2005 to excellent reviews. The second installment of the Inspector Coswell mystery series, West End Murders, was released in May 2008. The third installment of this series, Murder in the Chilcotin, was released in October 2010. His latest Inspector Coswell of the RCMP book, The Extra Cadaver Murder, was published in Fall 2016. Equally at home in the city or the wilds, Innes is an avid hunter, a lover of classical music, and, belied by his skinny frame, a gourmand. He lives on British Columbia's lush Gabriola Island with his wife, Barrie.
