False Light: 6 (The Knox Agency Chronicles)

When Kendra Borden, the tyrannical COO of Borden Pharmaceuticals, buys a leather tapestry on a whim, it never occurs to her that the seemingly innocent artifact harbors a terrifying secret-a portal to a realm where a malevolent creature with an insatiable appetite for death awaits its release.

Back in Hawthorne, Char is on a desperate quest to break the demonic geas that binds Brand, a druid-turned-vampire cursed to kill what he loves most - Char herself.

Driven to find a solution, Char dives deeper into forbidden magic and dangerous alliances. But elsewhere in the city, a serial killer leaves a trail of gruesome murders pointing to a supernatural predator - with the Department of Magical Enforcement and Security (DMES) suspecting Brand is the culprit.

The stakes soar when the real killer targets Char, leading her to an enigmatic shop owner who holds the key to the tapestry's secrets. Together, they devise a daring plan to trap the beast, aiming to end its murderous rampage and seal it back through the portal forever.

With time running out and Brand's fate in jeopardy, Char must assemble a powerful coven to perform a high-stakes ritual, their last hope against the ancient evil. But as they race against the clock, they realize the enemy won't go down without a fight.

In a pulse-pounding climax, Char fights to protect her loved ones and the city from unspeakable horror. As the battle intensifies, alliances will be tested, and Char faces a heart-wrenching choice: save Brand or save herself.

False Light is a gripping urban fantasy where dark magic, love, and betrayal intertwine in a battle against ancient evil. Will Char's courage and magic be enough to vanquish the wentiko, or will the darkness claim her soul? Dive into a world where every shadow hides a secret, and every choice could be your last.
