False Premise

ONE VICTIM VERY DEAD.
Another repeatedly threatened.
Eight people with motive and opportunity.

In book two of the Zoe Dill mystery series, two Art History professors with deep-rooted secrets encounter several greedy opportunists.

A suave art broker who only deals in forgeries.
A dodgy supplier of art “masterpieces” and his lady friend.
An orphaned young woman and her beau.

In this complex interplay between the present and past, careers, cash flows, and legacies are at risk. How these characters’ lives are interwoven on the trail of art and lies piled on lies is staggering. Within this twisty, eccentric whodunit, there’s one victim very dead, another repeatedly threatened, and eight people with motive and opportunity. But with no cops involved, will Zoe uncover the truths hidden under layers of deceit?
