Matching set of three: blue cloth, half-bound in blue leather; leather spines with six bands and title in gilt with matching gilt top edge and marbled boards. Fourth Series missing. All volumes have handling wear and strained front hinges. Series One has a developing crack along the front hinge at the spine; the leather spine itself is well preserved. Series Two has a similar crack but the binding is more secure, with netting showing at the top third of the spine. Series Three has a similar issue with the front hinge and there is only netting at the spine. However, they are all Internally clean, sound and complete, with all plates in colour and tissue guards intact. Priced as a rebinding opportunity.
