Add to basket1930 1st edition. 200pp. Very Good/None. Blue cloth boards with colour illustration pasted to front. Very minor rubbing/bumping to board edges/spine, minor soiling/patchy fading, small label scar to front. Contents clean and tight but for very minor spotting/browning. B&W photos throughout. A young boy dreams he's on a guided tour of Buckingham Palace, accompanied by characters representing countries of the British Empire - Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Northern Ireland and India. It was made into the 1930 film of the same name, by Walter Creighton, starring Douglas Beaumont, Sam Livesy, Michael Hogan and Joan Maude. The book features stills from the film, in which the scenes of the royal residence were the first ever shot in Buckingham Palace. Scarce.
