Connie Shehan is Professor and Chair of the Department of Sociology at the University of Florida. Her teaching and scholarly interests are family, gender, work, and aging. Connie’s Marriage and Family textbook was published by Allyn & Bacon/Pearson. As the longstanding Editor of the Journal of Family Issues, she has many professional relationships with family scholars who are contributors or editorial board members of the journal.
