The Family Project Devotional: Reflecting God's Design In Your Home (Focus on the Family)

The Family Project Devotional offers a year of powerful inspiration and biblical application to spouses and parents. Taking biblical admonitions, such as to bear one another’s burdens and to encourage one another, this devotional then applies them specifically to family life. For each of the 52 weeks, this devotional offers

• The week’s title and topic
• An opening prayer
• Scripture readings for each day, plus a featured verse of the week
• Reflection questions or an activity for each day
• A summary of the biblical teachings
• Quotable quotes
• Closing prayer

This devotional complements Focus on the Family’s much-anticipated The Family Project, a curriculum designed to change the way moms, dads, wives, and husbands see themselves―and to help them build healthy households from the best blueprint of all.

Your family can learn to love and honor God more than ever before.
When it comes to knowing how to please God, you don’t have to look far. The New Testament is filled with instructions on how to treat others and build more loving relationships.

And the place to best apply these is the home. The Family Project Devotional is your guide to doing that day by day.

Here you’ll find 52 devotional themes―one per week―for an entire year of discovery, including “A Family That Worships,” “Sharing the Load,” and “Everyone Plays a Part.” Each theme offers daily Scripture readings, along with prayers and an activity or set of questions for reflection. Space has been provided so you can record notes as God speaks to you each day.

“Within The Family Project Devotional, you’ll delve deep into Scripture to discover the DNA of God’s design for the family. You’ll celebrate the fact that the historical institution of the family is a direct reflection of the Creator Himself. But you’ll also encounter a wealth of useful, practical tips to help you discover how those timeless theological principles relate directly to you and your family―right now, at this moment in history.” ―Jim Daly, President, Focus on the Family
