Review
Although Mom will still most likely be the primary crafter of these pages, the fun and simple layouts, the good directions, and the beginner-friendly materials (lots of stickers, patterned papers, and punched shapes) mean that other family members can easily get involved, even without any prior crafting experience. The authors generally succeed in avoiding the overcrowded look prevalent in many books on the subject, where the photos often seem to get lost amid all the embellishments. Helpful tips scattered throughout the project pages give further good advice, such as photographing children in bright clothing, which will help to set a color theme for the subsequent scrapbook page. --Amy Handy
