Half leather and marbled boards, five panelled spine with decorative gilt panels and two original spine labels. marbled endpapers and foreedges. Edge rubbing to boards, corners bumped, showing some wear, spine spltting with front board at lowest extremity, internally very tight and clean, plates and map in good condition. This series was begun by the publisher in the 1820s and survived to the late 1840s. They make a handsome display on a shelf.
