About the Author

Maria and Charlie Girsch know something about creativity, inventing, and re-inventing. Starting out as nun and priest, they subsequently became toy inventors, surviving and thriving for more than 25 years in this trendy, volatile, yet delightfully creative industry. In addition to inventing six kids, they have licensed over 200 toy and game ideas worldwide. They hold several patents and have even won Germany's prestigious Children's Game of the Year Award.

In the mid-90's the Girsches took time off to identify the tools and techniques they practice on a daily basis to be and stay creative so they could share them with others. As a result, they founded Creativity Central through which they teach, train, publish and speak on the topic of creative thinking-and-doing for everyone, everyday, everywhere. They are truly a resourceful renaissance couple. They even got Leonardo da Vinci to write the Foreword of their book!
