A Far Way to Run

Twenty-seven-year-old Shayne Wright is about to find out there really is more than one way to bury a person. She'd fled this small West Texas town as a teenager with no plans to return. With a new life and a marriage proposal, she shouldn't be here now.

She'd only came for the funeral of an old friend, or had she?

An ice storm, a gunshot wound, and a handsome stranger named Ethan McGregor claiming squatter's rights on her grandparents' farm should have been enough to send her running back to the city where the ghosts of the past didn't linger on every street corner.

But when Shayne's past gets tangled up with Ethan's future, they find themselves caught in a desperate search to save the life of a mysterious woman.

The horrors of Shayne's past may be the key to saving someone else's life. But only if she can escape the memories keeping her buried in a tomb of shame and fear.
