About this Item

A lovely copy of the First Edition Library's beautiful facsimile of Hemingway's classic. Black cloth, looks and feels new. There are a few very small spots or rubs on the dust jacket so I can't quite rate it fine, but it is very close. In a near fine slipcase with a couple of small dings, hard to spot. Photos are the best description. First Edition Library Facsimiles had the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. The publisher's slip laid in with a description of the book and its publication is important to collectors and this book has it, though it somewhat darkened by sunning, perhaps left out of the book at some point. A fresh new color copy on similar paper will also be provided. Published in the 1980-90s, these facsimiles are now collectible in their own right.
