In red boards with gilt type on the spine, black type and gilt decoration on the front cover. There is a 1/4 inch divot missing from the back cover, some darkening to the lower part of the covers and spine, a few light spots where it appears drops of water hit the front cover. No craking to the hinges, the binding is tight and sound, the pages crisp and unmarked.
