A vanishingly scarce work, with no record of it being held institutionally.This work offers a brief insight into the life of farm animals, including horses, sheepdogs, goats, sheep, donkeys, ducks, St. Bernards, pigs, geese, and chickens.Illustrated with eight vivid chromolithograph plates. The plates show the animals with their offspring, and are illustrated by N. Drummond.This volume is part of Father Tuck's 'Natural History' Series. In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, a little rubbed, with marks to the boards. A small amount of loss to the spine. Small tidemark to the head of the rear board, and to the tail of the front board. Internally, textblock is working loose from the binding. Pages are lightly age-toned and clean. Good Only.
